Depeche Mode to play stadium gig in Sofia.

Depeche Mode will be performing in Sofia on the 18th May as part of their “Tour of the Universe 2009”. The band who’ve had 45 singles in the Uk charts, sold over 75 million albums worldwide and are currently working on a 12th album, will be playing at the National Stadium “Vassil Levski” which is in the centre of Sofia. Budget Bulgaria have some fantastic hotels situated in Sofia and with cheap flights available on Easyjet from Manchester or Gatwick you can plan a long weekend to remember.
Tickets went on sale on October 13th and are selling fast but there are still seated and standing tickets available. Ticket prices for remaining seats are as follows:
40 Leva = £16.23
45 Leva = £18.26
55 Leva = £22.

To order tickets go to www.ticketpro.bg. All instructions are in Bulgarian but go to the picture of Depeche Mode. There are 4 words underneath the picture, click on the right hand word (Билети онлайн ). A list of events will then appear and you need to click on Depeche Mode again. This will then allow you to choose the type of seats you want and how many. If you are a new user you will have to register on their website. You can then choose to print an e-ticket. This has a unique barcode which you will have to present at the venue on the day.
Alternatively, you can buy tickets from the ticket office at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
